Fireworks in the Lowcountry

The Summer is flying by and the 4th of July is right around the corner! What do you and your friends and family have planned?  There are celebrations going on all over the Lowcountry, and there will be no shortage of fireworks!  Grab your family and catch one of these fun events as we celebrate our nation's Independence Day.

Pick a spot on the beach to watch the annual fireworks display which begins around sundown! The 3rd Block West section of Folly Beach will be closed at 2:30pm on the 4th of July in preparation for the fireworks display. FREE event.

Mount Pleasant

Mount Pleasant Pier

Charleston County parks will be hosting “Uncle Sam Jam” on the Mount Pleasant Pier.   Bring your dancing shoes because there will be live beach music starting at 8:00pm and continuing into the night (gates open at 7:00pm).   From the pier, you will be able to see fireworks from all over the harbor, the best seat in town! Don't miss out on this opportunity because admission is only $8 in advance, but likely to sell out!
